The Acquisitions and Collection Management Section of the HSLIC is responsible for:

• Selection of HSLIC monographs, including approval selection; some contact with out of print dealers, the University Book Store, and non-print vendors; replacement, location and deselection policies.
• Other policies, procedures and fielding of questions which pertain to the monograph collection, vendors and acquisitions.
• Materials gift selection.
• Rare Books and Special Collections, policy, acquisition, access and reference service.
